A significant update to the Compute Module line is the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. The most significant modification is the switch to a high density connector on the bottom of the board from the DDR2 SODIMM connector form factor. As promised, however, the Compute Module 4 incorporates all of the Raspberry Pi Model B 4's greatest features into a more advantageous form-factor for OEM or embedded applications. The board can display 4K video through two HDMI ports and has the same 1.5GHz quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A72 CPU as the Raspberry Pi 4. It features two MIPI DSI display and CSI-2 camera interfaces on a single-lane PCI 2.0 express interface. The Compute Module offers wireless capability for the first time.
