This board is a straightforward carrier of Broadcom's bidirectional ±10A ACHS-7121 Hall effect-based linear current sensor, which provides electrical isolation up to 3 kV RMS and a low-resistance (~0.7 mΩ) current path. With a typical error of ±1.5%, this version produces a proportional analog voltage (185 mV/A) centered at 2.5 V and accepts a bidirectional current input with a magnitude up to 10 A. It is designed for use in 5 V systems and runs between 4.5 and 5.5 V. Features: The PCB is made of 2-oz copper, which means that very little power is lost in the board, and the conductive path internal resistance is normally 0.7 mΩ. The IC can electrically isolate the current path when a Hall effect sensor is used.
