With an ARM Cortex-M7 processor running at 600MHz, an NXP iMXRT1062 chip, four times the flash memory of the Teensy 4.0, and two additional memory-addition ports, the Teensy 4.1 is the latest version of the wildly popular development platform. Similar in size and shape to the Teensy 3.6 (2.4 by 0.7 inches), the Teensy 4.1 offers more I/O capabilities, such as a USB host port and an SD card socket. Please be aware that Ethernet is not supported by this Teensy 4.1. The Teensy 4.1 supports dynamic clock scaling and uses about 100mA of current when operating at 600 MHz. Teensy 4.1 hardware and Teensyduino's differ from conventional microcontrollers in that modifications to the clock speed result in incorrect baud rates and other problems.
