2 medium tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon red chili pepper (optional) 1/4 cup water
In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil and add the crushed garlic. Stir until light golden. Add the tomato paste and stir for a minute. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and red chili pepper (if you prefer a hotter sauce). Add the water and let the mixture boil for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add the vinegar and stir well. Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
