Zubdat al-Tafsir - Small Edition: "Zubdat al-Tafsir" is an abridgment of the book "Fath al-Qadir al-Jami' bayna Fannay al-Dirayah wal-Riwayah min 'Ilm al-Tafsir" by al-Shawkani. The author condensed it to generally present a single opinion for the interpretation of each verse, limited the different Qira'at (recitations) to the interpretation corresponding to the recitation of Hafs, and extracted the essence of the narrations from the 'dirayah' (knowledge-based) section compiled at the end of his research.
