This book embodies over 30 years of clinical practice and research on the nature of disruptive behavior in children, its causes, and treatment methods. It focuses on issues like impulsivity, hyperactivity, inattention, and defiance. The methods outlined are based on thousands of published scientific studies focusing on these behavioral challenges and their treatment, as presented in psychiatric and psychological books. The method presented is widely used in North America for managing disruptive and defiant behavior in children.

I have delivered this program to more than 10,000 mental health professionals over the past three decades through seminars and workshops, enabling them to offer it to families in their clinical practices. Personally, I have also taught this program to over 2,500 families during my clinical practice.
