This beautifully crafted book introduces readers to the world of philosophy, and invites them to pause, reflect, and explore the deeper meaning behind seemingly ordinary questions. Designed as a safe, personal space for self-discovery, the book encourages free expression—through writing, drawing, or thinking out loud. It helps readers build a stronger connection with themselves, while developing confidence, emotional insight, and critical thinking skills. Whether as a gentle introduction to philosophical thinking or a companion for quiet reflection, this book plants the seeds of lifelong curiosity—and a love for open-ended questions that help shape who we are.

Parent and Teacher guide

The book “Who AM I?” is a contemplative and interactive journey that helps young people explore their identity in depth. The book provides them with a free space to answer questions and express themselves through words, drawings, or doodles, without prejudice or right or wrong answers. Each page of the book is an invitation to internal dialogue and reflection on fundamental topics such as identity, the body, memory, feelings, relationships, dreams and aspirations. It also provides an opportunity to reflect on secondary topics related to the self, such as the impact of language on identity, our reflection of others, the development of the body and cells over time, family and social experiences, and how everyday events can shape an individual's consciousness, decisions, and feelings. The book promotes self-awareness, critical thinking, creative imagination, and internal dialogue, allowing young people to practice the philosophy of everyday life.

  • What is the one question that you liked the most and why?
  • Do you feel that drawing helps you express yourself, or do you prefer writing, and why?
  • Now that you’ve read the questions in the book and thought about your answers, do you feel you have a clearer idea of what philosophy is? How would you describe it in your own way?
  • Was there a question that changed the way you think? Or made you think differently?
