The years have taught me that the heart is the key to wishes, and our hopes are in the hands of the Almighty, Capable, and Generous. Despair is a failure, so let us not despair while our hope is in His hands. They taught me that those who envy us and begrudge us our blessings have despaired of God's ability to grant them what we hope for from the Generous, so we leave them to their disappointment. They also taught me that the heart is too precious to be thrown at the feet of the hateful; rather, we give it its value, purify it from the malice of those who lie in wait for us, rise above futile competitions, and do not risk dropping it into swamps polluted with what is unworthy of it. By its elevation, we exist, and by its purity, we ascend.
