The confusion is because almost nothing remains as it was. The great responsibility is because the word has acquired a new meaning as an act of change in itself. Language can no longer continue as it was; the revolution has created its own language through social media, on banners, walls, and upon hands, faces, and bodies. The writer must adapt their language to the pulse of the rebellious youth, draw inspiration from the fertile imagination of popular genius as it invents its unprecedented methods of struggle, and charge their vocabulary and structures with parables of heroism, solidarity, and sacrifice that have emerged from masses who have tasted or longed for freedom. Above all, writing in a revolutionary time is destined to nurture hope.
