Wasp season starts from spring to fall. From late spring until the end of July, wasps continue building their nests and forming young wasps. During this period, wasp traps are less effective. In late summer and fall, wasps are strongly attracted to the scent of fruits, and wasp traps become highly effective. Hanging wasp traps are a safe and easy method to control wasps during their active season.

Effective bait recipe for luring wasps:

To create effective bait, fill the wasp trap with two cups of water. Add one cup of fruit juice, 4 tablespoons of sugar, and a cup of vinegar to the water, then hang or place the wasp trap. It captures the scent and prevents wasps from escaping once inside.

You can also add to the mixture:

• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 1 cup vinegar
• 1 cup fruit juice

The wasp trap is also an effective defense against yellow jackets, honey bees, and wasps.
