This book, through the dedicated efforts of a group of Turkish and Arab researchers, addresses a gap in the comprehensive study of Turkey's situation during this period. It offers a file aiming to be a serious Arab attempt to understand the "Turkish situation" from an integrated and methodical perspective through peer-reviewed studies and research. These are divided into two parts: The first part focuses on internal changes and challenges Turkey faces in development and justice establishment, while the second part covers its external relations with surrounding countries and the complexities of the external environment.

Twelve researchers competed in analysis and inference, exploring Turkish society's issues and dissecting its structure in all its political aspects and influences. They also explained the positive impact of the Justice and Development Party on these matters. Ali Hussein Bakir began with a "general view of Turkey," explaining the strategic and political significance of its geographic location and regional role. Ibrahim Ozturk highlighted Turkey's economic achievements resembling an "economic miracle." Tariq Abdulaziz discussed the military institution, a major hurdle for democratic development in Turkey over decades, and its impact on political life.

Mohammed Thalji researched the "generators" of the identity crisis, its origins and development, and how the Justice Party managed it. Kamal Al-Saeed Habib elaborated on the axis of Islam, chronicling the "Islamic phenomenon in Turkey, tracking its emergence and development," and adding "conclusions derived from this history." Adib Assaf Bakr Oglo concluded the first section by exploring the nature of the relationship between Islam and secularism, and its stable and changing forms.

Mohammed Nour El-Din started the second section, focusing on the foundations of Turkish foreign policy, addressing many questions in this area. The section concerning Turkey's regional role, particularly its relationship with the United States and its administrations considering Ankara "the cornerstone of its Middle East policy," was studied by Khalil Al-Ani, an expert in international relations. Ibrahim Bioni examined Turkey's relationship with Europe and its "dream of joining the union," exploring the "dialectic of inclusion and exclusion in Turkish-European relations."

Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Arab region and its neighbors represent a "strategic depth that cannot be ignored" for Turkey, securing "energy bridges," analyzed by Mahran Akci. Mustafa Labad tested "the strength of Turkish-Arab relations amidst current conditions of Arab regimes," studying the importance of Turkish-Arab relations.
