The war waged by Israel on our country, under the pretext of responding to the capture of two soldiers, clearly highlighted the deep-seated animosity harbored by the leaders of the Hebrew state towards our land and people. Despite Lebanese unity in facing this brutal aggression, and their salute to Hezbollah's courageous fighters, celebrating their victory in preventing invaders from forcefully entering our territory, a significant portion of Lebanese started to anxiously raise numerous questions about the future, still obstructed. These valid inquiries are not limited to Hezbollah's weapons or the future role of the resistance, though these are thoroughly explained and significant. Rather, they extend to the broader and more critical issue of state-building, which historically represents the legal framework, through various circumstances and historical phases, for expressing the unity of a country and its people. We hope this will be achieved in the third republic that we advocate for, ensuring the conditions for its establishment.
