About the Book

The book "Three Marks in Contemporary Palestinian Poetry" includes three studies that bring together Ahmed Abu Salim, Salah Abu Lawi, and Yousef Abdel Aziz. They met in exile and decided to unite in their love for the homeland and their preoccupation with general Arab and specific Palestinian concerns. In their poems, they chronicled their life, human, and emotional experiences, sculpted by exile and polished by the unique experience of each, to form three prominent poetic marks in contemporary Palestinian poetry.
