Theatrical education is not a type of art like singing, dancing, painting, or acting. Instead, it is a pedagogical phenomenon that uses theatrical art as a tool to achieve its educational goals first. Secondarily, through experience, it achieves artistic and aesthetic objectives that ultimately contribute to general educational goals.

A student in school is not an artist or an actor, and should not be treated as such. They are a person in the process of learning and acquiring experiences that shape their personality. In school, our aim is to develop the individual, not a specialized artist. We use art and its techniques to build the student's character, not to provide them with a specialization or an artistic profession. This premise is fundamental in defining the concept of theatrical education and is the main gateway to understanding this modern educational phenomenon.

Theatrical education is an integral part of the educational process, not a luxury. It serves as the second wing of the learning process, with the first wing being science. The student (the person of tomorrow) cannot soar and sing with confidence, nor feel their independence, unless this balance between their two wings is secured.
