The novel, as Tarek described to "Al-Dostour", leans towards first-degree realistic philosophy, where Tarek relied on transferring and narrating events of real characters, adding some events and situations to fit the novel framework. From the novel's atmosphere, we read: "Life treats us fairly once and disappoints us a thousand times, we cross a path and stumble in hundreds, one attempt succeeds, and hundreds fail; a wish comes true while hundreds remain hanging. We try, believing that despair is not written for us, running long roads, certain that fate will not heed our attempts and we will not reach our destination.
