About the Author:

Nahla Ghandour, a Palestinian born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1957.

• Director of the Children's Rehabilitation Kindergarten at the Ghassan Kanafani Cultural Foundation.
• In 2008, she published the book "Al-Mishkal," a collection of emotional reflections, life snapshots, and social critical essays.
• In 2010, she published "Hiya Huma Hunna" with Dar Al-Khayyat Al-Saghir, for which she won the Anna Lindh Award for Children's Literature in the Arab World. This work was translated into French.
