It seeks to explore the experiences of the largest Arab population outside the Middle East through a literary approach, which frees it from the rigorous requirements and methodologies of academic study. It is part of the story of how thousands of Arab immigrant families from various Arab nations transformed into a cohesive community, focusing on internal dynamics and external influences, especially the impact of situations and developments in the homeland on the community's progress. The story of Arab Americans certainly deserves academic studies and approaches that do it justice, as their presence marked a significant influence on American society. However, this requires resources, energies, and talents that received a considerable setback after September 11, 2001, when many achieved gains dissipated, and the community became less engaged with its American surroundings and more connected to the tragic reality of the homeland.
