The book 'The Seven Assemblies by Jalaluddin Rumi' explores new horizons in Islamic symbolism, drawing from the refined literature of enlightened souls guided by divine light, with the understanding that all human affairs should be directed towards pleasing God.

It features seven discourses containing verses from the great Diwan (Kulliyat Diwan Shams Tabrizi), Rumi's quatrains, and excerpts from the Masnavi 'Walad Namah' by 'Sultan Walad'. Each assembly begins with an almost rhythmic Arabic sermon, including Quranic verses on wisdom and divine authority, and greetings to the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, the Muhajirun, and the Ansar. The seventh assembly also greets Hasan and Husayn.

Following the sermon is a supplication in rhythmic Persian, and the main discourse starts with a Hadith. This commentary offers verses, Hadiths, and stories that provide a symbolic frame for understanding high-level spiritual teachings. The book blends heart and mind, presenting the essence of Islam in its Sufi dimensions, in a comprehensible language.
