The car continued its ascent amidst the barking of protesting dogs and the rigid cries of the guards until it stopped at the shout of another guard in front of the large prison. The iron door creaked on pained hinges, opening a hideous maw to devour a new victim, one of those whose taste it had become accustomed to, fond of, and loved, announcing the end of the lieutenant's mission...
