Fahmi Jada'an, a Jordanian thinker of Palestinian origin, was born in 1939 in the Palestinian town of Ain Ghazal.

He studied philosophy and obtained a PhD in Islamic Philosophy and Kalam from Sorbonne University in Paris in 1968.

Jada'an worked as a professor of philosophy and Islamic thought at Arab universities, including the University of Jordan and Kuwait University. He held several academic and administrative positions, such as Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan.
