The car unexpectedly broke down on the remote Pine Forest road. I got out with the other passengers, and unlike the driver who was frantic, I enjoyed this break, especially since my destination was far, and the old car shook like a child's swing. While the driver and passengers attempted to fix the problem, I gazed around this place that was rich with the aroma of the earth, where the intertwined trees almost blocked the sky, and a sense of calmness prevailed. I wished for a moment of rare reflection away from the others. I walked a little, but in the direction the car would take, so the driver wouldn't forget me. I felt like a student sneaking out of school to the forest, to a unique adventure to recount to friends the next day. Suddenly, the trees receded at a bend, revealing what disrupted my life for what seemed an eternal period.
