The author of the book is Abu al-Turab Sayyid ibn Hussein ibn Abdullah al-Affani, from the town of Affan in the Beni Suef Governorate of Upper Egypt. He grew up in a simple rural environment, which deepened in his heart a sound nature and a pure divine direction. He progressed through formal education until he joined the Faculty of Medicine and graduated. He studied under contemporary Salafi scholars such as Abu Ishaq, Saeed Abdul Azim, and Sayyid al-Ghubashi. However, the sheikh to whom he is attributed is the meticulous researcher Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Muqaddam. He was known for his preaching, reminding, advising, and oratory throughout all parts of Egypt.
