While walking on that long path, the past caught me, and I stumbled with memories. My body shook; I almost fell, but with a swift move in less than a minute, I regained my presence and held onto the first door handle by my side. I thanked God I didn't fall, but if I had, that would have been God's will. As I grasped the door handle, it opened slightly. I tilted my head a bit, and my eyes widened at the awe-inspiring sight. Panic seized me due to the intense light filling the place, and I ran far, escaping my reality. Because of this fear, I closed my eyes to forget what I saw. When I opened them again, I found myself within the light. I recalled what I often told myself when my mind wandered: There's no escape from reality but through the beauty of imagination, and no avoidance of truths from your past and present but towards them. Choose to knock on doors, not to flee from them. Where is the destination? Wherever the path takes me, to the tunnel's end, wanting to see the light once more. Ultimately, we will all stand before the Creator of the heavens.
