The Muqaddimah of Ibn Khaldun 3/1 is considered a significant work by Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad, known as Ibn Khaldun, one of the most eminent intellectual figures of his era. He was renowned, and his thoughts on social sciences were ahead of his time. His writings have become essential references for global thought from his era to this day. Among his most famous works is the book Al-Ibar and the Diwan of Initiatives and News on the Days of Arabs, Persians, and Berbers, which has been translated into many languages. The most remarkable and well-known part is the first book, titled “The Muqaddimah of Ibn Khaldun 3/1”, where he included the principles of the philosophy of history and sociology, critiqued his predecessors and highlighted their flaws, described the evolution of nations from nomadism to civilization, and addressed the advancement of societies in social, religious, political, economic, scientific, and artistic aspects, the formation and growth of states, their decline, and the characteristics of both nomadic and settled peoples. All this is presented in a sequential manner with a logical style, accessible expression free from artificiality or embellishment, with vast knowledge and deep insight into the core of social existence, and a correct understanding of its realities.
