Among his most famous works is the 'Kitab al-Ibar,' a universal history book translated into many languages.

The most significant part of this collection is the first book, known as 'The Muqaddimah,' which includes rules for the philosophy of history and sociology. Ibn Khaldun critiqued his predecessors, highlighting their flaws, and described the evolution of nations from nomadism to civilization. The development of societies, religion, politics, economics, sciences, and arts, along with the rise, growth, and fall of states, are all elaborated in a logical and coherent style, providing deep insights and a correct understanding of social existence.
