Abdur Rahman bin Muhammad, known as Ibn Khaldun, was one of the most knowledgeable thinkers and scholars of his time, widely celebrated for his groundbreaking ideas on sociology. His works became vital resources for global thought from his era to ours.

One of his most famous works is 'Al-Ibar' and the comprehensive history titled 'Diwan of Beginning and Ending in the Days of Arabs, Persians, and Berbers, and their Mighty Contemporaries.' This book was translated into many languages.

The most famous section was the first book, 'The Muqaddimah' or 'Introduction,' where he presented the principles of the philosophy of history and sociology. He critiqued his predecessors, outlined their shortcomings, and described the evolution of nations from nomadism to civilization, exploring society, religion, politics, economy, sciences, arts, state formation, and decline. His logical and easily accessible style reflected profound knowledge and insight into social existence.
