"The Moroccan Letters" is the fourth book in our collective series, which Dar Al-Farabi has been publishing since 2016. The series includes "Paris as Seen by Arabs," "The Damascene Letters," and "The Second Centennial of the Palestinian Cause from Sykes-Picot to the Arab Spring." The texts in this book were written by twenty writers, intellectuals, and media professionals from various Arab countries. Their contributions are divided into two sections: the first presents general knowledge texts on culture, anthropology, politics, and poetry. The second section features texts on thirteen Moroccan cities, based on the principle of one writer per city. However, four cities—Fes, Asilah, Rabat, and Marrakesh—are each covered in two texts from writers of different sensibilities and cultural and regional backgrounds. A final note is that the authors' names are listed in alphabetical order.
