The hero of the novel suddenly acquires a supernatural gift: the ability to see everything that happens to people everywhere, even if they are thousands of kilometers away. This humble and kind man is transformed into a prime target for everyone—from the woman who was his wife to high-ranking criminals, and even international intelligence agencies. Some want to exploit him, while others want to kill him. Yet, this ordinary man remains beyond all their clever schemes, continuing to live life his own way.

It is worth noting that the novel "The Man Who Knew Everything" was adapted into a feature film in 2009 and gained wide popularity in Russia and other Russian-speaking countries. The film was directed by Vladimir Mirzoyev and starred Ekaterina Guseva and Igor Barenkov, along with a cast of other actors.

Author Sakhnovsky has received numerous awards for his works. In 2002, his novel "The Urgent Needs of the Dead" won the International Literature Fellowship Award (United Kingdom). In 2003, he won the Grand Prize in the All-Russian "Decameron" competition for a series of short stories titled "The Happy and the Mad" and the "October" magazine award for "Best Publication of 2003."
