The Lofty Demand in addressing name complexities in the two Sahihs is printed and published for the first time as an investigation. Among the most noble sciences after the knowledge of the Book is the science of Hadith; the people of Hadith are successors of the Prophet, peace be upon him, blessed with his prayers for mercy and prosperity, and promised paradise—an invaluable promise. They dedicated day and night, spending their lives documenting these voyages, excelling in their compositions, and being creative in their crafting.

Scholars have made numerous efforts to maintain this clear and detailed Sharia, documenting the noble Sunnah, engaging in criticism and validation sciences, and striving hard in composing works to regulate the names of narrators. Some authored works on similarities for every known name in narration, while others compiled works specifically for narrators in certain Hadith books or a particular book; this is a noble science appreciated and urged for mastery by scholars. Ibn al-Salah, may God have mercy on him, said, 'This is a great art; those unaware among Hadith scholars oft erred and could not avoid embarrassment.'

There are numerous books in this field, primarily authored by al-Daraqutni, Abu Ali al-Ghassani, Qadi Iyad, al-Sam'ani, Ibn Makula, Abdul Ghani al-Azdi, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Nasir al-Din al-Dimashqi, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and others, may God have mercy on them. Among those who contributed significantly is the Yemeni scholar, the jurist Muhammad bin Abi Bakr al-Ashkar al-Yemeni al-Shafi’i, who authored a brilliant rhyming poem clarifying the names of the 'Two Sahihs' narrators, making his composition a fine piece, easy to access, clear, and free of superfluity. The structure was not an obstacle to clarity, as expected from experts, exposing similar names and arranging complexities, nicknames, and related matters.
