State of Islam in Andalusia The encyclopedia discusses the history of the Islamic State in Andalusia from the conquest until the fall. It includes a preface about its condition before the Islamic conquest and a conclusion on the situation of the Andalusian Muslims after its fall, along with a final part on the remaining Islamic artifacts in Spain and Portugal. It took around 25 years to complete, during which many trips were made to Andalusian regions and the Kingdom of Morocco. He examined sources preserved in Spanish and Moroccan libraries and visited event sites.
