The book 'The Islamic Conquests' is authored by a writer born in Nazareth, Palestine, on April 1, 1958, and passed away on July 3, 2013. He completed his primary and secondary education in Yaft Nazareth and Nazareth, and graduated from Tel Aviv University in 1984 with a degree in Arabic literature and history. During his college years, he was active in political and cultural arenas, participating in many seminars, and published his works in various Palestinian newspapers such as Al-Fajr, Al-Sha'ab, Al-Bayader, Al-Kateb, Al-Shiraa, Al-Ittihad, Al-Jadeed, Al-Hadaf, Al-Meeqaat, and the newspaper of the Palestine Liberation Organization 'Falastin Al-Thawra', among others. In 1979, he won the second prize at the Al-Aqsa Literary Festival organized by the College of Da'wa and Fundamentals of Religion (currently Al-Quds University), and a book was published from the festival named after his participating poem 'Sad Hymns about the City of Sorrow, Prayer, and Fasting'.
