Life, our lives and how we wish them to be, versus what they are now. Every day, we begin a new search for our material needs: food, drink, clothing, shelter, and health. We traverse the earth seeking what secures our five basic needs, then return to ponder what we will do tomorrow to secure them again.
The wheel of life turns without stopping; commitments, responsibilities, and endless duties cause us to neglect, intentionally or not, a critically important part of ourselves... our psychological side. Our increasing preoccupation with material affairs has begun to blind us to what is more important. We work to earn, but where is the sincerity in our work? We adorn our heads and chests with slogans of patriotism as if it's important for them to be displayed, forgetting that it's more important for them to be in the heart and mind, reflected in our actions.
Look around you: so much cheating and deception, a world of wolves, a mad world with no justice or mercy. Why? Because the majority of us do not understand the importance of honesty, loyalty, and giving, nor do we value them at all. What if everyone continued to work without sincerity? Without cooperation? Without patriotism? And most importantly, without humanity? Would things straighten out? Would a nation rise without morals? And what is a nation without morals? Let us look at the world from another perspective—a different, comprehensive one—and then judge what is right and where the wrong lies.
