Many deny the existence of ancient Arabism. This book was written to respond to them and to introduce the nation's youth to some of the tributaries and foundations of Arabism since ancient times, which Islam came to refine, complete, and build a state for. Perhaps the most dangerous among the deniers of ancient Arabism are the Orientalists and their followers, who consider the Arab presence outside the Arabian Peninsula an occupation that came with the Islamic conquest. This renders modern Arabism a mere occupation that must be overthrown, or an imposed identity that must be disavowed at the very least. This view, which opposes ancient and consequently contemporary Arabism and is widely promoted, is not just another perspective or theory in history. It is the basis for the destruction of Arab cultural identity here and now; it is part of a war. The destruction of the common Arab denominator among the people of the Arab nation is a prerequisite for destroying the single Arab identity, which paves the way for the fragmentation of our nation.
