This book (The Complete History) is a comprehensive record of the news of Eastern and Western kings and everything in between. The author began with the history from the beginning of time to the end of the year 628 AH, arranging it by the sequence of years. The author's method involves mentioning each significant incident annually and dating it, while minor events are all summarized together at the end of the year under 'Various Events'. If someone distinguished themselves or briefly ruled a country, their story is presented in full at the start of their rise to power to avoid confusion due to scattered information. At the end of each year, he notes who among the renowned scholars, dignitaries, and wise people passed away. Thus, the author compiled in this book what had not been assembled in any book before it.
