The Holy Quran was revealed in the varied languages and dialects of the Arab tribes. The Prophet recited it in these dialects to make it easier for every tribe to read it in a way that suited their language. The companions learned the Quran from the Prophet with its readings and narratives without missing any part. The successors then transmitted it with precision and mastery, dedicating themselves to its teaching and pronunciation. These efforts gave rise to well-respected masters who became the authoritative figures for Quranic readings. The ten readers who devoted their lives to teaching the Quran achieved a consensus among Muslims regarding the continuity of their readings across generations, fulfilling the divine promise of preserving the Quran as mentioned in the verse: 'Indeed, it is We who sent down the message and indeed, We will be its guardian.'
