The divine revelation is represented in the Quran and Sunnah, which are the primary sources of knowledge about the unseen world. This cannot be perceived through the senses or known through reason, as the senses and reason guide us only to the material witnessed world. The mind needs revelation to perceive truths just as the eye needs light to see objects.
