Tafsir al-Tustari is distinguished by its small size, which means it does not offer a complete exegesis of all Qur'anic verses. Instead, it is an interpretation of some verses and commentaries that were responses to questions from al-Tustari's students. It is not surprising that this exegesis is concise, as this is the method of the people of Sufism.
