The book 'Surprise: Rejoice, O Jerusalem' is authored by Mohammed Issa Daoud, born in Ismailia, 1957, in the city of New Kassassin. He moved to Cairo at the age of five, where he grew up, was educated, and completed all his studies from primary to higher education. In his youth, he studied all Islamic sciences. His professional career began as an editor for Al-Akhbar and Akhbar El-Youm newspapers. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts, majoring in Languages and Oriental Studies (Hebrew branch) from Cairo University. Additionally, he earned a postgraduate diploma in Egyptian antiquities with a very good grade from the Egyptian Antiquities Department at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, and also received an excellent grade for his higher diploma in Prehistoric Archaeology from the same university in 2001.
