Crassula muscosa is an interesting succulent plant reaching up to 30 cm in height, with a tendency to spread its branched stems covered entirely by tightly clustered, light green leaves. The leaves conceal the stems, which start upright but then collapse due to the weight of the leaves. Small, pale greenish-yellow flowers with an unpleasant scent appear with the tightly spaced leaves along the stems in spring and into mid-summer. This plant is excellent for adding a unique texture to a mixed planting or as a small-scale ground cover in a well-drained slope or rock garden.
Watering
It is best to water regularly during the summer and approximately once a week, or even less, in winter. Like all succulents, be cautious not to overwater to avoid root rot.
