The book 'Studies in the Sources of Maliki Fiqh' by author Miklos Muranyi is dedicated to introducing the Maliki jurisprudential books from their early era, starting from the end of the second Hijri century with the book 'Muwatta Malik ibn Anas,' which is widespread in numerous narrations, up to the late fourth century, known for the monumental work: 'Al-Nawadir wa al-Ziyadat' by Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani, which is considered a summary of the important jurisprudential books of the Maliki school up to that time.

These findings from the stages at the end of the second and beginning of the third Hijri centuries deserve significant attention, especially when viewed from the perspective of the independent development of the Maliki school in North Africa, Andalusia, and Egypt.
