The nature of the human body's composition allows it to undergo changes in its organs and systems when subjected to effective physical exertion (adaptation). These changes aim to enhance the body's efficiency to meet this effort, requiring both aerobic and anaerobic capacities. The concepts applied in the initial stage are intended to develop the efficiency of the circulatory, respiratory, muscular, and nervous systems to elevate their level and facilitate participation in practical lessons that demand good physical fitness.
The primary goal of regular sports training is to achieve functional adaptations in the body's systems, thereby developing the physical abilities that are fundamental to course requirements. Given the nature of practical lessons, students need good physical fitness to perform the course requirements, learn the correct techniques, and participate in classes. Student participation is needed in both team and individual sports, especially track and field.
