The book's full title is "Siyanat Sahih Muslim min al-Ikhlal wa al-Ghalat wa Himayatuhu min al-Isqat wa al-Saqat" (Guarding Sahih Muslim from Errors and Lapses and Protecting it from Omissions and Mistakes). This book is a commentary on "Sahih Muslim," which, along with "Sahih al-Bukhari," is considered one of the most authentic compilations ever. What enhances the importance of this commentary is that it is by a distinguished scholar of high repute among the memorizers and scholars of Hadith. The book covers numerous issues in jurisprudence, hadith, and language, following a method similar to that of Qadi Iyad in his book "Ikmal al-Mu'allim." Had death not come swiftly to Sheikh Ibn al-Salah, his work would have been one of the most beneficial commentaries on Sahih Muslim.
