Explanation of Hadith Defects with Questions and Answers in Hadith Terminology. The science of Hadith is one of the sciences unique to the Islamic nation. It is a comprehensive study of the Prophetic hadith in terms of its chain of transmission (isnad) and its text (matn). It includes multiple types of Hadith sciences such as: the science of Hadith terminology (also called the science of Hadith principles), which studies the subject of the hadith's chain of transmission and its narration, the texts of the hadiths, and the reported narrations. Other types of Hadith science include the study of the jurisprudential rulings of hadith, the explanation of hadith, understanding the concepts of the Prophetic Sunnah, knowing the abrogating and the abrogated, and more.
