What I write is not a recounting of personal experiences or an autobiography as some might think. It's a portrayal of life's journey with its sweetness and bitterness, with the passion that spins like a joyous dancer, or the lingering pain that brings sleepless nights. It's about the eagerness brought by a woman's presence, or the happiness woven by a mischievous child or planted by a loyal friend. :::::::::: I knew nothing about love. In my veins flowed blood filled with tears and isolation, unlike any other. I hid, fearing everything, even those closest to me. But when I saw you, I found a refuge in you, knowing it couldn’t be mine! I drew near to you, fearing for you, while you alone were more afraid than I was, despite living among people, laughing, drinking, dancing, hiding an anger no one knew, and you alone were my sanctuary. :::::::::: Between reality and myth, illusion and emotion, suddenly we were told this is a homeland. When we declared our allegiance, when thousands of martyrs passed, when all these poems fell and trees disappeared, and the sea became distant... they set up thousands of dividing lines near our souls and asked us to start anew. Between reality and myth, illusion and excitement, we are still searching for a different time to reshape the map.
