About the Author:

Amer Hamza was born in Baghdad in 1961. He is an Iraqi writer and journalist who wrote the scripts for the documentary series "Haneen" about the history of Christians in Baghdad. He has published two short story collections: "Childhood's Grass" in 2000 and "More Gray Beings" in 2002. He is a member of the General Union of Writers in Iraq and an active member of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate. He has also worked as a producer for documentary programs on several satellite channels.
