Her book 'My Two Special Brothers' was awarded the best children's book production at the Beirut International Book Fair 57. Her works have been translated into more than nine different European and Asian languages. In 2012, she received the 'Arabi 21' prize from the Arab Thought Foundation for the book 'My Grandfather's Donkey'.
