The study of the subject of quantity and quality includes many significations, characteristics, and intellectual dimensions related to several issues of cognitive phenomena pertinent to the study, especially the fourth dimension (spacetime) in the fields of both physics and philosophy, due to their connection with industrial product design and the needs that touch upon user requirements. This is in addition to the problem of the spatiotemporal triangle (past, present, future), and its reformulation as a continuous iterative loop between previous past issues and subsequent future visions, while the present is merely a pause in the reality of the user's time. From the philosophy of quantity and quality, the concepts of (universal and particular) and (negative and positive) are derived as a means for philosophical evaluation through Aristotle's square of opposition, structuralism, and Gestalt theory. This reveals the extent to which industrial products lack scientific standards for quantity regarding the structure of the qualitative measure of quantity to achieve quality not only in aspects related to durability and type, but also in patterns related to perception and visual and emotional suitability for the receiver's scene. The opposite is true for product design concerning the receiver's requirements, where quality lacks a precise quantitative measure for the quantitative means used in designing industrial products compared to competing products. Furthermore, there is a lack of a clear and specific objective framework for quantity and quality in industrial design. If these designs were re-evaluated, we would find that the realized function is incomplete and clouded by ambiguity in the aesthetic vision between quantity and quality at the level of design elements and principles, in addition to the possibility of re-evaluating the aesthetic and utilitarian value for the user according to the required function for which the industrial product was designed.
