This book, "Pythagoras and Pythagoreanism," delves into Pythagorean philosophy, which holds a principal position in the history of Western consciousness as the first precursor to establishing a mathematical interpretation of existence. It examines the crystallization of Pythagorean philosophical thought from a new methodological perspective, based on researching its intellectual significance and deconstructing its epistemological problems by evoking the religious background, which constitutes the author's interpretive model for the formative moments of European consciousness. It focuses on the "worldview" as one of the most important interpretive tools capable of analyzing Western philosophical thought, reading its historical development in light of its interaction with that meaning. Because this book delves deep into the analysis of details and problems, it is the most comprehensive study on Pythagorean philosophy written in the Arabic language. It is the third part of a project on the history of Western philosophical thought, which the Namaa Center for Research and Studies aims to complete to enrich the Arabic library.
