'Prayers of the Seven Days' is a book of supplications authored by Abu Tamim Ma'ad al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah, the Fatimid caliph and Ismaili imam, who assumed leadership after his father, Al-Mansur Billah Abi Al-Tahir Ismail, in 341 AH at the age of twenty-two. He was born in the city of Mahdia, the capital of the Fatimids in the Maghreb, on Monday, the eleventh of Ramadan in 319 AH, during the late period of the Fatimid Caliph Al-Mahdi Billah.
