Since the arrest of the Greek poet Yiannis Ritsos in 1967, his poetry has been translated into multiple languages, including Spanish, English, French, and Italian. As for freedom in all its dimensions, it never left the poet who once said, "If death is here, it always comes second. Freedom is always first."
